District heating engineering
The institute has design ability to undertake large-scale heat supply boiler houses, heat supply networks, and CHP (combined heat and power projects). Along with the development of central heating industry of city, the heat supply project scale has increased and the requirement for technical level is higher than before. In recent years, the Division of Heat Supply and Power of the institute has got a great progress in usage of CAD and advanced technology etc. At present, it has undertaken central heating project designs have covered the domestic 26 provinces and cities. We are in the leading position of nationwide heat supply sector.
Since early of 1980's, the institute has undertaken about 100 large or middle size central heating projects of more than 70 cities, such as Beijing, Tianjin, Mudanjiang, Dalian, Datong, Qingdao, Yantai, Qinhuangdao, Urumuqi, Huhehot, Harbin, Hefei, Guangzhou etc.. It has made great contribution for city central heating industry in China.
The automatic control technical level of the centralized heating projects done by the institute is in national leading position, such as microcomputer automatic control boilers, unattended substations, primary & secondary networks adjustment for centralized monitored system, heat source and heat networks automatic control system internet integration. All these make centralized heating processes more saving, safe, and increased heating effect, as well as to get obvious economic result and social result.
In recent years the institute has finished and published following working in China: ¡¶ City Heat Supply Handbook ¡· , ¡¶ Heating & Refrigerating Equipment Handbook ¡· , ¡¶ Heat Energy Engineering Design Handbook ¡· , ¡¶ Heating Substation Design Drawings Collection ¡· etc.. In addition, it finished ¡¶ City & Town Heat Supply Directly-buried Steam Pipe Technical Code ¡· (discussion craft as the engineering construction trade standard of Construction Ministry) and the Heat Supply Part of ¡¶ Economical Evaluation Implement Detailed Regulations of Municipal Utilities Projects ¡· .
